I used this book with my preschoolers ages 4 and 5. As I read the book to them, we also put on our lookers/5(13).

"Nature" refers to the phenomena of the physical world, and also to life in general. It ranges in scale from the subatomic to the cosmic. The word nature is derived from the Latin word natura, or "essential qualities, innate disposition", and in ancient times, literally meant "birth". I selected this book hoping it would jumpstart a new way of looking at nature for my children.

I'm not sure if it will, but they were engaged as I read and stared at the photography on each page. As is usual with this type of book, the extra notes at the end are helpful for further investigation and discussion after the book has ended/5.

The book I'm looking for is a dystopian one from the 70's or 80's. Condition means everything in a book's value. A book that has significant damage is likely not worth much. A book collector wants an attractive copy. Dust jackets. Most hard cover books published since the early 20th century were sold with a dust jacket.

I know it's difficult because the entire point of those documentaries is the visuals but if any any one. We do a lot of cool science experiments that require a bunch of materials for indoors, but so much fun science can be found outdoors too.
